What is Mouth to Lung Vaping?
Mouth to Lung vaping, often abbreviated to MTL, describes the way in which vapour is inhaled. Emulating the experience of a cigarette, vapour is first drawn into the mouth and then inhaled into the lungs.
These tanks offer simple, effective vaping that is perfect for a newcomer to vaping.
What are the benefits of using a mouth to lung tank?
Mouth to Lung tanks offer a wealth of benefits. With mouth to lung tanks being best paired with lower wattage devices, this means not only do you use less e-liquid, but you also carry around less bulk with you as well – no need to carry around big bottles of liquid to top yourself up throughout the day.
These devices are also cheaper to run overall when compared to sub-ohm devices, due to their lower battery capacity, and higher ohm coils being generally cheaper than sub-ohm coils. Not only they cheaper, but they also tend to have a longer lifespan too.
Mouth to Lung tanks also offer a discreet way of vaping, without compromising on flavour. These tanks produce much less vapour than their sub ohm counterparts, resulting in a more discreet vape – this is in part to do with the e-liquid that is used. These tanks typically use higher PG e-liquids which is more watery than higher VG e-liquids and carries more flavour. Due to this makeup, it produces less vapour and uses less battery power to vaporize.
What e-liquid should I use with a MTL tank?
When using Mouth to Lung tanks, the best types of e-liquids to use with them are nicotine salts or e-liquids that contain a PG ratio of 50% or higher.
The reason that we recommend a PG ratio of 50% or higher is because e-liquids with a higher VG ratio tend to be thicker in consistency, which could lead to less absorption and burning of the coils due to their higher resistance.
