What are advanced vape kits?
An advanced vape kit is the next level upwards when comparing them to devices such as pod kits or vape pens. Sub ohm vape kits are called advanced because of their unique features, allowing you to control every aspect of your device, from Voltage, Wattage, Temperature to the ramp up time and types of coils that are used in your device.
This level of control not only provides you with a more dialled in experience, but it allows you to produce intense flavours with huge amounts of vapour.
Due to their advanced nature, these vape kits draw more power than standard starter kits, with many being powered by external batteries, such as 18650 batteries. They also host a myriad of safety features to ensure that they draw the power safely.
What e-liquids work best with advanced vape kits?
These kits are best suited towards thicker, high VG e-liquids. These blends often require higher power outputs to properly vaporize them.
Using e-liquids with a VG ratio of 70% or above is recommended with these devices. The result will be huge plumes of flavour intense vapour.
Do be aware, however, that these devices can use e-liquid at a faster rate than normal starter kits, so shortfill e-liquids are the most cost-effective option. These e-liquids come nicotine free, so you must add your own nicotine via nicotine boosters. Due to their higher power, you do not need as much nicotine as standard mouth-to-lung devices and our most popular nicotine option for shortfill e-liquids is 3mg.
Why are these kits called Sub Ohm Kits?
These kits are called sub-ohm kits due to the tank that is included with them. The tank within these kits holds a coil, which houses cotton and wire. It absorbs the e-liquid and vaporizes it and that is what you inhale.
The most important part of this is the coil itself. A coil with a rating of under 1.0 Ohm, so 0.99 Ohms or less, is classed as sub-ohm.
These coils tend to operate under a greater wattage range and produce denser vapour and more intense flavours.
