Cheap Vape Juice and the Vape Tax

Since 1 October 2026, the Vaping Products Duty has been charged on all vaping liquid at £2.20 per 10ml, plus VAT. Some products are still sold from pre-duty stock until 31 March 2027, so prices across the market will rise as duty-paid stock replaces it. Our vape tax guide explains what it adds to each size.

Be Wary of Prices That Look Too Good

From 1 April 2027, every legal vaping product must carry a duty stamp and include the duty in its price. A product priced at or below the tax it should contain is a warning sign that it may not be legal or safe. Buying from an established UK retailer is the simplest way to be sure.
